P3 launches latest service at Cranmer Street, Long Eaton, Derbyshire. On Friday 16th May 2008, P3 launched its latest service in Long Eaton, Derbyshire creating yet further opportunities to change young peoples lives for the better. Accomodating 12 single homeless people aged between 16-25 years at any one time, the Cranmer Street service will be a stepping stone for clients coming from supported housing into a more independent environment. Each studio apartment is self contained and equiped to the highest standard with fitted applicances throughout, providing a new, warm and safe place for clients to call home whilst accessing support from P3. Work began on the Cranmer Street service in late 2007, only taking 6 months to complete due to the enourmous efforts made by P3 staff and contractors. The Worshipful, The Mayor of Erewash, Councillor Eileen Knight opened the doors to Cranmer Street in a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by numerous Councillors and staff from Erewash Borough Council as well as staff from P3 and partner organisations.
