Homelessness Homelessness destroys lives, takes away all hope and leaves people in despair. P3 services build aspirations and offer long lasting routes out of social exclusion and homelessness. P3 is working on the places of change agenda to modernise and develop our range of opportunities and choices for service users with particular focus around accomodation, employment, education and developing life skills. We provide a wide range of services that help people get their lives back on track. Our services are providing support with housing, health issues, employment, training, education and addiction issues. For many of our clients, waking up in the morning not knowing where you’re going to sleep that night is a harsh reality. P3 operates over 1700 people a week through 20 supported housing projects across the UK in inner city and rural areas and this number is increasing to cater for the higher levels of demand we have experienced over recent years. P3’s homeless services offer positive solutions which present its users with lasting routes out of the harsh reality of not having a place to stay. With long term advice and support we aim to successfully assist our clients in safe, secure and independent living, giving them the best chance possible to reach their full potential. Contacts and Access Team (CAT) Lets put rough sleeping to bed Our contact and access team work with people sleeping rough in the city of Wolverhampton and engage with a wide range of agencies to ensure that people have got somewhere safe to sleep that night and can wake up the following day with a sense of hope, optimism and expectation. The CAT team work intensively with people sleeping rough with the aims of;
- Helping people maintain tenancy agreements through devised tenancy sustainment strategies
- Building relationships with people who don’t necessarily engage with other homeless services
- Contacting and offering emotional support to people homeless on the street
- Maintaining the necessary links with the most socially excluded people in our society.
CAT is not accommodation based but available via a variety of alternative bases throughout the City of Wolverhampton.
